What did the defense of Selim and Krasniqi say in their closing statements?

The defense of Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi in The Hague continued with closing arguments. Attorney Geoffrey Roberts said that Rexhep Selimi should be declared innocent and allowed to return to his family in Kosovo.
Jakup Krasniqi's lawyer, Venkatesëari Alagendra, has also said that he should be declared innocent. On Monday, the Specialized Prosecutor's Office will answer the questions of the trial panel.
Rexhep Selim's defense again requested on Friday that he be acquitted of all charges before the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague. In his closing statement, Selim's lawyer Geoffrey Roberts said that the evidence of the SPS against his client is contradictory.
"If you look at and evaluate the evidence in detail, you will come to the conclusion that Mr. Selimi is completely innocent of all the charges that the SPO has brought against him. As a result, Selimi should be found not guilty and should be allowed to go to his own country, to his own family in Kosovo," said Geoffrey Roberts, Selimi's lawyer.
The same request was made to the trial panel by Jakup Krasniqi's defense for his client. Krasniqi's lawyer said that the prosecution has completely ignored exculpatory evidence.
"We will call on you, based on the evidence available, to declare Mr. Kransiq innocent. Allow this 75-year-old gentleman to return to his family and spend the years that God has destined for him with his family," said Venkateswari Alagendra, Krasiq's lawyer.
Krasniqi's defense will continue its closing arguments on Monday morning, after which the trial panel will ask questions, as will the prosecution and the victims' defense attorney. On Wednesday, the four defendants, Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi, will each give their 20-minute speeches.
