Rokas: We are focused on helping the country implement reforms

The EU Ambassador to the Republic of Macedonia, Michalis Rokas, believes that the congratulations sent by Macedonian politicians on the election of the new government in Bulgaria are welcome.

During today's visit to Kumanovo, Rokas said that even after the election of the new government in Bulgaria, the focus of the EU delegation in the country is assistance in implementing reforms.

"The fact is that we have a new government in Bulgaria, I saw the congratulatory messages that were exchanged, which is very welcome. For our part, as an EU delegation, we will focus on helping the country implement reforms.

As I have already said, there is a great moment and a great opportunity for EU enlargement. The Prime Minister has already been to Brussels twice in December, so there is a lot of diplomatic activity.

"What we are trying to do here is what this diplomatic activity is, helping to overcome this problem and move forward. We are focusing on the implementation of reforms and in particular the reform agenda, which was approved by the Government," said EU Ambassador Rokas. /Telegraph/
