With deep honor and respect, the 18 martyrs of Hereçi in Gjakova were commemorated on the 27th anniversary of their heroic fall for the freedom of Kosovo, 10 of whom gave their lives in the glorious battle of Koshare.
Dozens of young people wearing black T-shirts with the inscription "Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA)" and "The Undead of April 23, 1998" gathered in an organized manner to honor those who fell for freedom.
The young people marched towards Koshare singing the song for Adem Jashari, bringing back the time of April 23, 1998, when the battle took place.
"We are ready at any time - to bring honor to the KLA,
The bullet does not scare us,
A just war makes us brave.
Our national pride, may the liberation army destroy,
"The first one to leave us the trust was Commander Adem Jashari."

The names of the martyrs were mentioned with pride, while the determination to keep their memory alive in the hearts of younger generations was emphasized on this anniversary, reports Telegrafi.
