British news agency Reuters has published the best photos for 2025.

Reuters has featured 100 photographs taken by its photojournalists in different parts of the world, which show the main moments of the year we are leaving behind.

It is known that during 2025, Reuters published more than 1.6 million photographs documenting personal and political events, successes and tragedies, while photographers reported on daily life and important news from up to 150 countries.

Among the major events, Donald Trump's return to office as US president was particularly notable, bringing rapid and major changes.

Wars in Gaza and Ukraine continued, and natural disasters struck areas accustomed to disasters as well as those not accustomed to them.

However, apart from conflicts and accidents, people found moments of joy through sports, religion, and various celebrations.

Creativity was also reflected on the catwalks, while on the streets people expressed their dissatisfaction with politicians, corruption, and poverty.

Catholics said goodbye to Pope Francis and welcomed Pope Leo, while migrants continued their desperate journeys across borders and seas.

Reuters photographers were on hand to capture all these moments and more, creating a comprehensive overview of the events that marked the year 2025. /Telegraph/
