Goals, fight and cancelled penalty, 'El Clasico' goes to extra time

The final between Barcelona and Real Madrid in the King's Cup ended with a 2-2 score after 90 minutes.

Almost throughout the entire first half, the Blaugranas were more dangerous and demanding, forcing Real Madrid to close back to avoid leaving any space.

They had a serious chance with Jules Kounde who headed the ball towards Real Madrid's goal, but Courtois made a great save to deny him the goal.

After several consecutive attempts, Hansi Flick's team finally managed to find the lead.

It was the 28th minute of the match when Lamine Yamal wisely made a super pass to Pedri who, from outside the area, scored with a beautiful shot for 1-0.

In the second half, Real Madrid reacted by turning everything upside down with two goals scored.

Initially, Kylian Mbappe scored for 1-1 in the 70th minute from a penalty kick, while Aurelien Tchouameni took care of the lead for 'Los Blancos', who scored with a header for 2-1 in the 77th minute.

The Madrid team failed to hold on to the lead after Barcelona scored in the 87th minute through Ferran Torres to tie the game at 2-2.

A few seconds before the end of the match, Barcelona won a penalty with Raphinha, but it was canceled by the referee after a VAR review.

Now, two 15-minute overtimes and eventual penalties will be played to determine the winner of this final.Telegraph/
