Kosovo Police announces that the Directorate for International Police Cooperation ILECU has arrested a person wanted on an international arrest warrant for serious bodily harm resulting in death and vandalism.
"On 16.02.2026, police officers from the Directorate for International Police Cooperation, in cooperation and coordination with other units of the Kosovo Police, arrested a Kosovo citizen, who was wanted through INTERPOL with an international arrest warrant issued by the Federal Republic of Germany for the criminal offenses of 'serious injury resulting in death' and 'vandalism'," the announcement states.
By order of the prosecutor in charge, the arrested person was sent to police custody for 48 hours, to continue with other legal procedures.
