Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has continued the rhetoric of victimization, accusing countries in the region of, as he put it, "the dirtiest campaign" and "witch hunt" against Serbia.

Vučić made these statements during his stay in Trebinje.

In his speech, Vučić claimed that Serbia is under constant political and media attack from Pristina, Zagreb, Sarajevo and Podgorica, emphasizing that his country, despite this, will do everything to maintain peace in the region.

According to him, Serbia is facing constant accusations and, as he called them, "brutal lies", for which it is blamed for every crisis or tension in the Western Balkans.

Vučić stated that Belgrade has not attacked nor does it plan to attack anyone, but is constantly accused of destabilization.

In another part of the speech, the Serbian president expressed concern about what he called a "new military alliance" between Zagreb, Tirana, and Pristina, claiming that it is directed against Serbia.

German analyst Thomas Brey has assessed that this rhetoric is well-known and often repeated by the Serbian president, especially in moments of regional political tensions or international pressure on Belgrade.

Meanwhile, the Serbian president stressed that Serbia will continue to strengthen its military capacities, guaranteeing, according to him, peace and security.

Vučić also spoke about global developments, stating that "great storms" are brewing in the world and that international rules are being replaced by "madness."

He reiterated his position that Serbia must adhere to international law, citing the case of Kosovo and comparing it to other international situations.

At the same time, Vučić announced that Serbia is ready to invest over 200 million euros in the construction of Trebinje airport, presenting this as a project of strategic importance for Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina./Telegraph.
