Vučić's trip to Moscow is suddenly interrupted, the Azerbaijanis land his plane on the runway - he is waiting for approval to continue the trip due to the Russian-Ukrainian military operations

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić flew to Moscow today, where he will attend the Victory Day parade on Red Square.

According to Serbian media, the plane is currently in Baku, Azerbaijan, and cannot continue its journey to Moscow because it does not have permission to continue the flight, due to military activities between Russia and Ukraine, reports Telegraph.

All countries had previously granted permission for the flight, but now cannot grant permission due to military activities, Serbian media wrote, reporting that Vučić's plane landed on the runway for security reasons.

Currently, Moscow's airports are also closed. And today Ukraine attacked Moscow with drones for the third day in a row, forcing the closure of the airports, as had happened in previous days.

Otherwise, Vucic is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday, as previously announced by the Kremlin.

On Tuesday, information emerged that Lithuania and Latvia had banned Vučić from flying to Moscow via their territory, so it is unknown which route the Serbian president took to the Russian capital.

Vučić, on the other hand, appeared in public for the first time after suspected 'health' problems that forced him to cut short his trip to America.

At the presidency building, he first met with Russian Ambassador Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko, and then with British Ambassador Edward Ferguson. /Telegraph/
