Volkswagen CEO behind the wheel of the most extreme Golf, challenges his colleague from the sports division R

At the top of corporations are flesh and blood people who sometimes need to step away from presentations and desks.

And when you're at the helm of a car company, it's better to stay behind the wheel, reports the Telegraph.

This is exactly what Volkswagen's first man, Thomas Schäfer, did, who decided to challenge one of the company's employees.

Of course, it's not just anyone, but the chief engineer of Volkswagen's R sports division, Jonas Thielebein.

Schäfer chose the Golf in the R edition, namely the Black Edition, while Thielebein chose the equally motorized Golf R in the wagon version.

In both cases, the 2.0 TSI with 333 horsepower takes care of the movement and the power is transmitted to all wheels via the DSG gearshift.

The boss's Golf is somewhat lighter and is also equipped with the Performance package, which enables a top speed of 270 km/h.

They competed in the acceleration race, drifting, as well as the track race. /Telegraph/
