Viva Fresh secures 25 million euros in financing from EBRD – the largest deal ever for a Kosovo company

As part of the Annual Meeting and Business Forum of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) being held in London, Viva Fresh has signed a historic financing agreement worth 25 million euros.

This is EBRD's largest ever deal for a Kosovo company, marking a key moment for the development of the private sector in the country.

Zsuzsanna Hargitai, Managing Director of the SME Finance and Development Group at the EBRD

Matteo Colangeli, EBRD Regional Head for the Western Balkans

Andrea Moraru, member of the ENEF II Board

This financing is done within the framework of European Union Investment Framework for the Western Balkans, and represents a strategic partnership between Viva Fresh, EBRD and ENEF IIIt reflects the trust of international institutions in Viva Fresh as a leading company in transforming retail trade in Kosovo.

Through this support, Viva Fresh aims to expand its regional impact, initially through the purchase of the Spar Albania network, bringing modern standards, easy access for the consumer and an increased focus on sustainability to the Albanian market.
