Villa engulfed in fire in Brezovica, police provide details
A villa and a residential building were engulfed in flames on Sunday afternoon in Brezovica.
Kosovo Police has reacted to the incident, confirming that no one was injured.
The spokesperson for the Ferizaj region, Kanun Veseli, stated that the fire was reported at around 15:11.
Meanwhile, the Fire Department and police patrols immediately arrived at the scene.
"Today at around 15:11 we received information that a fire broke out in the Brezovica area, which included a villa and a residential building. The Fire Department was notified of the fire, while a police patrol immediately went to the scene. There are no reports of injuries to people," said Veseli.
During March 2025, Kosovo has faced an increased number of fires, especially in forest and field areas.
It is important to note that starting fires in forests and forest land is prohibited by law. Violators could face fines ranging from 500 to 20,000 euros, depending on the damage caused. /Telegraph/
