Vesel, Selim and Krasniqi's detention extended for two more months

Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi will remain in detention for at least another two months.
The decision to extend this measure against three former Kosovo Liberation Army commanders who are being tried together with Hashim Thaçi was made by the Trial Panel of the Special Court in the Thaçi case.
Through a notice, this court announces that in the case in question, the panel "found that there are continuing risks that the defendants may obstruct the progress of the process or commit other crimes."
It is also reported that the last decision to review Thaçi's detention was issued in December 2025, and the next review is expected in February.
This decision came a day after the Special Prosecutor announced that from February 9 to 18, closing statements will be held in the trial against the former KLA four, who have been in detention for more than five years.
