Veliu demands responsibility for LDK's defeat: No one is above the party

Former Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) MP Agim Veliu has reacted after the party's election results, demanding political responsibility and deep reflection within it.
In a public reaction, Veliu emphasized that the LDK's consecutive losses are not a coincidence, but a "clear political verdict," adding that the lack of reflection behind them no longer constitutes a simple mistake, but a refusal of responsibility.
According to him, a party that aims to gain the trust of citizens cannot behave as if losses have no author, while the closure to criticism, lack of analysis and the capture of decision-making have severely damaged the LDK and have distanced it from its mission.
Veliu has publicly and unequivocally demanded: political accountability for electoral losses, full transparency over decision-making processes within the party, and the immediate opening of an internal democratic process, with real competition at all levels.
"No one is above the party. No one has a permanent mandate from defeat," he wrote, warning that without reflection and change, the current direction of the LDK cannot be defended and does not serve the future of the party. /Telegrafi/
