Mallorca scored a 3-1 home victory over Elches in the 16th week of the Spanish football elite.
One of the authors of these goals for the Spanish team was Kosovar striker Vedat Muriqi, who is in exceptional form this season.
The 31-year-old was the author of the third goal which he scored in the 89th minute after an assist from Omar Mascarell.
For Muriqi, this was his ninth goal this season in La Liga, having played 15 matches.
With this victory, Mallorca moves to 17 points and currently holds 14th position in the standings.
Muriqi and his teammates will play in the Copa del Rey in midweek, where they will travel to Deportivo La Coruna, before returning to La Liga with a duel against Valencia.
