Van Dijk leaving Liverpool? His agent in talks with the famous club

Liverpool captain Virgil Van Dijk is reportedly in talks over a possible move away from Anfield this summer.

On Saturday afternoon, Van Dijk led Liverpool to a 2-0 away win over Brentford, thanks to two goals from Darwin Nunez.

As a result, Liverpool now have a six-point lead at the top of the Premier League, after Arsenal failed to win at home to Aston Villa.

But, despite this promising start, Liverpool fans are concerned about the future of some of their key players.

Van Dijk, along with Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold, can leave Liverpool for free at the end of the season.

Now, it has been reported that the Dutchman's agent has met with the president of a club to discuss his potential transfer there.

As The Mirror reported, Van Dijk's agent met with Al Hilal president Fahad bin Nafel in London.

"Journalists from the Middle East are able to speculate that Van Dijk is considering a move to Al Hilal this summer."

"Al Hilal are reportedly keen on him before the start of the Club World Cup to be held in America," the report said.

In addition to Van Dijk, Salah has also been linked with a move to the Middle East, while Alexander-Arnold has long been a target for Real Madrid./Telegraph/
