The leader of the Vetevendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, said in a press conference that the results of the October 12 elections are proof that the Vetevendosje Movement has emerged as the main political force in Kosovo at the local level.

He added that starting today, they will begin work on the runoff, while thanking citizens for their support.

"Our goal is clear for our candidates to win in these municipalities as well, so that the good governance that citizens deserve can return or continue, and so that our municipalities can move forward," Kurti said.

Regarding the Exit Poll results published last night for Mitrovica, Kurti demanded that they be investigated.

"What happened on October 12 regarding the reports on Mitrovica must be investigated and researched, it is not just a mistake but a deliberate engineering for flagrant interference in the electoral process. The incorrectly presented Exit Polls with a difference of 16 percentage points or more by more than one organization and for the same municipality and the posting of fake news about who was the winner before the polling stations had even closed, was not only a mistake but a violation of democracy, free elections and the integrity and security of the state", said Kurti, while inviting the justice authorities to deal with this.

Kurti expressed his confidence that they will win as a subject in the municipalities in which they went to the runoff.

Vetëvendosje (VV) has won 3 municipalities without a runoff: Kamenica, Podujevo and Shtime.

In 12 other municipalities, it goes to the runoff: Gjakova (against AAK), Gjilan (against LDK), Fushë Kosovë (against LDK), Mitrovica (against PDK), Kaçanik (against PDK), Obiliq (against LDK), Rahovec (against AAK), Peja (against LDK), Prishtina (against LDK), Prizren (against PDK), Viti (against LDK) and Vushtrri (against PDK). /Telegraph/
