TAK fines 40 thousand euros to a small business with a turnover of less than 30 thousand euros

The lawyer from the "Vokshi & Lata" Lawyers Association, Florin Lata, said that recently, the Tax Administration of Kosovo (TAK) imposed a fine of 40,000 euros on a small business for not issuing fiscal coupons, although the annual turnover of his was under 30,000 euros.

"The decision is based on Article 101, par. 6, related to par. 2.1 of the law", wrote Lata, Telegrafi reports.

He said that "after reviewing the decision, it seems to me that this fine is unjustifiable and unfair".

"I invite you to read the article yourself to understand the disproportion of this measure. Add to this the fact that by-laws have not yet been issued. I am in favor of fiscalization and compliance with the law, but against absurd measures that lead to the bankruptcy of small businesses", he wrote.

He says law enforcement should be a tool for development and support, not destruction for those struggling to survive. /Telegraph/
