The Public Municipal Enterprise "Trafiku Urban" JSC has announced that, in cooperation with employee representatives and the union, it has reached an agreement for the regular continuation of work and the provision of public transport services in the Municipality of Pristina.
According to the announcement, the agreement was reached after consultations and continuous dialogue between management and union representatives, with the aim of maintaining operational stability and the uninterrupted provision of services to citizens.
Regarding the workers' demands for improved working conditions and increased wages, Urban Traffic has emphasized that it remains committed to taking concrete steps, in accordance with financial possibilities, to improve the well-being of employees. Union representatives and management have agreed that detailed discussions on these demands will take place during the second quarter of 2026.
The company has announced that social dialogue will continue and that management remains open to cooperation with the union and competent bodies, with the aim of fairly and transparently addressing issues related to workers' rights and the long-term stability of the company.
Likewise, Urban Traffic has confirmed that the submitted requests will remain under active review and that, with the improvement of the financial situation and the provision of sufficient income for sustainable development, they will be treated with priority in cooperation with the union and relevant institutions.
