Police in New York responded to a call from a Suffolk County bank and arrived to find that the suspect was a deer that crashed into the window.

The Suffolk County Police Department said officers were called to Webster Bank in Ridge on Sunday when a burglary alarm was activated.

They arrived and discovered that a deer had crashed through the window and was stuck inside.

Then the animal made a mess on the bank in its attempts to find its way out.

The department said officers were able to capture the deer and release it back into the wild. /Telegraph/
