Illegal buildings in Tetovo, deadline until March 3 for their legalization

Over 3000 houses built without a permit in the municipality of Tetova, whose legalization applications were rejected due to lack of documentation, have the opportunity to submit the necessary documents for legalization once again until March 3, according to the municipality of Tetova.
They say that the constructions in question were carried out between 2011 and 2018. According to them, most of the houses built without permits and documents are in the city, but there are also some in the villages of Tetovo.
"Until March 3rd is the call that we have made for all citizens who have legal property problems, lack of documentation to bring them so that these cases can be completed. Out of a total of 14451 cases, the number is currently around 3000 cases. So there are 3000 cases that have documentation problems or different problems, and the call is until March 3rd to bring the documents because after this deadline they will not be able to be legalized. We are talking about objects that lack documentation. The call is valid only for those buildings that were built during the period 2011-2018, most of the objects are in the city but there are also in the villages of Tetova, but the documents that are without the necessary documentation are in the city" declared Alili, spokesperson for the municipality of Tetova.
However, the question remains about the houses built on the BFI endowment, which have not been able to find a legal solution. The municipality of Tetovo says that this problem is long-standing.
"It is like an old problem. Most of the houses there were built without permission and without construction criteria, and it is a special problem and measures will certainly be taken," said Albion Alili, spokesman for the Tetova municipality.
Meanwhile, the Mufti of Tetovo responded briefly, emphasizing that this topic should be discussed at the highest levels of the BFI. Mufti Selver Xhemaili said that he is ready to discuss it with relevant institutions.
On the other hand, many weekend cottages are awaiting legalization in Kodra e Diellit, while during a recent visit to the Kodra e Diellit tourist center, the country's Prime Minister Hristijan Mickovski declared categorically that there is no law for them and there will never be one.
