Aston Villa coach Unai Emery has asked the club's management to strengthen the attacking department during the winter transfer window, emphasizing the need for a creative, fast player with a goal-scoring instinct.

According to reports, Egyptian winger Omar Marmoush has also been included in the English club's wish list.

The 26-year-old is currently with the Egyptian national team at the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations and has stood out for his performances, thanks to his speed, technique and ability to play on both sides of the attack.

Marmoush has a contract with Manchester City until June 30, 2029, and according to Transfermarkt, his market value reaches around 65 million euros.

A potential transfer is expected to be complicated, considering the long-term contract and the club's financial demands from the Etihad.

Marmoush is not in Pep Guardiola's starting lineup, but it is not known whether the Spanish coach is open to strengthening his rival in England.

Villa has impressed everyone this season by finishing third in the table, and is aiming to secure a place in the Champions League for the 2026/27 season.Telegrafi
