Ukrainians strike Russian air base in Kursk, killing 20 drone operators

The General Staff of the Ukrainian army has announced that they have successfully carried out an attack on the Russian air base in Kursk, from where drones used in the fighting in Ukraine were launched.

On April 19, the Ukrainian Air Force successfully struck the Russian air base near the village of Tyotkino in the Kursk region, from where the Russians were launching drones.

This base was used by the Russians for training, equipping and launching drones that constantly bomb various parts of Ukraine, the Telegraph reports.

The Ukrainians also announced that at least 20 Russian drone operators who were inside the facility they hit were killed in this attack.

"This attack is a response to the actions of the occupying forces against our army," the Ukrainian military said in a statement.

They also emphasized that they will continue to destroy Russian military infrastructure, and that according to them, war crimes will not go unpunished. /Telegraph/
