Ukrainians hit one of Russia's largest ammunition depots with missiles

Ukrainian forces have used home-made "Flamingo" missiles to strike a large Russian warehouse of projectiles, ammunition and explosives in Kotluban, in the Volgograd region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
In the same wave of attacks, a military equipment factory in the Tambov region was also hit, Kyiv Independent reports.
According to the report, the facility hit in Kotluban belongs to the General Artillery Directorate and is considered one of the largest ammunition depots used by the Russian army. Powerful explosions were recorded at the site of the attack.
Ukrainian forces also attacked the Progress factory in Michurinsk, Tambov, a plant that produces high-tech equipment for military air and missile systems, causing fire and damage, while the full extent of the destruction is still being assessed.
The "Flamingo" missile, manufactured in Ukraine, is believed to have a range of up to 3000 km and an explosive bomb weighing about 1150 kilograms.
Russian authorities said a military facility was burned in Volgograd and that no civilians were injured, but residents were evacuated from the area near the missile debris due to the risk of subsequent explosions.
Ukraine continues to target military targets inside Russian territory to weaken Moscow's combat capabilities, considering these facilities "legitimate" as part of the war. /Telegraph/
