Ukrainians discover new Russian combat tactics, find missile system on Shahed drone for the first time

A man-portable air defense system (MANPADS) has been found for the first time on a Russian Shahed drone.
Russian forces most likely installed it to counter Ukrainian aircraft, the Telegraph reports.
This is what Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov, an expert in Ukrainian military radio technology, has said.
Flash reported that the drone on which Russian troops installed MANPADS was found today, January 4th.
"Shahed is equipped with a camera and a radio modem. The missile is launched by the Shahed operator who controls it from the territory of the Russian Federation. I ask military aviation pilots to take into account the emergence of this new threat. You should avoid approaching Shahed on a head-on course and be more careful with those flying in a circle," the Ukrainian expert added.
Man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS) are designed to destroy low-flying aerial targets, such as helicopters, airplanes, drones and missiles. /Telegraph
