Ukrainians retaliate for Sumy attack, strike Russian military base with drones

Ukrainians have managed to strike a Russian military base with long-range drones - hitting the facility where the soldiers were located more precisely - and in response to the bloody Russian attack that killed dozens of Ukrainian civilians on Sunday and injured hundreds more.

The attack targeted the 112th Brigade of the Russian army, which had been under surveillance by Ukrainian intelligence for days with the aim of gathering as much information as possible, the Telegraph reports.

Otherwise, the Russians had fired two Iskander-M ballistic missiles, hitting the Ukrainian city of Sumy, where many civilians were killed in this attack.

It is about Iskander missiles, otherwise known as 9M27K, that fly up to 1,400 meters above the target.
