Ukrainian special forces destroy four helicopters deep in Russia, footage released

Ukrainian special operations forces reported that, in coordination with defense intelligence, missile forces and artillery units, they destroyed two Ka-52 helicopters and two Mi-8 helicopters in the Belgorod region of Russia.

"As a result of the recently conducted special operation, the helicopters were destroyed by missile strikes deep inside Russian territory, where the Russians had established an airfield," the statement said.

It is known that a HIMARS multiple rocket was used in the attack, writes sky news, the Telegraph reports.


"Once again the enemy believed he was safe in the deep rear. We proved once again that nothing is beyond the capabilities of the Special Operations Forces. We continue to work," they added.

Otherwise, the Ka-52 is an attack helicopter used by the Russians for reconnaissance and striking ground targets.

Mi-8 transport helicopters are used by Russian forces to transport personnel and cargo and to support ground operations. /Telegraph/
