Ukrainian drones strike Russian factory producing Iranian drones in Tatarstan

Ukrainian long-range drones have struck the Alabuga factory in Tatarstan, one of the key sites of the Russian military industry, where Russia is producing copies of Iran's Shahed suicide drones.

This attack is an important step in strengthening Ukraine's military response to Russia's efforts to strengthen its attack capabilities using advanced drone technology.

Russia has announced that it expects the Alabuga factory to produce 25 of these suicide drones (Geran-2) this year, including a significant number for use in its future military campaigns. This mass production has raised concerns about the use of these drones in both civilian and military areas, giving Russia the opportunity to increase its precision strike capability.

The released footage shows several failed attempts by Russian Pantsir-S1 air defense systems to shoot down a Ukrainian suicide drone over Tatarstan. These attempts, however, proved unsuccessful as the drone evaded hits several times, demonstrating its ability to perform active evasive maneuvers in the air.

The drone, instead of flying on a fixed trajectory, uses fast and unpredictable movements to evade the defense system's missiles, thus demonstrating its improved ability to repel air strikes. However, after several attempts, one of the Pantsir-S1 missiles was able to hit and shoot down the drone, ending one of the tense moments of this attack.

This incident is another important proof of the technological and tactical clash between Ukraine and Russia, showing that Ukraine is able to use advanced technology to defend its sovereignty and strike at Russia's military capabilities deep within its territories.

Otherwise, Russia has launched an invasion of the Ukrainian state on February 24, 2022, causing thousands of casualties and extensive material damage. The war, which has taken on large proportions and erupted into a wide-ranging military conflict, has included both ground operations and air and drone attacks, severely affecting the lives of citizens and causing a serious humanitarian crisis. Despite this, Ukraine has shown strong resistance and received international support to oppose the ongoing Russian aggression. /Telegraph/
