UEFA reacts after Kosovo's victory over Sweden

Kosovo has scored a historic victory in Gothenburg over Sweden, triumphing with a minimum score of 1-0 in the match valid for the fourth round of qualifications for the 2026 World Cup.
This match took place in front of a fiery atmosphere, where Franco Foda's boys showed character, discipline and perfect organization on the field.
The only goal of the match was scored by Fisnik Asllani, who is also in exceptional form with his club. The 22-year-old striker took advantage of a pass in the area and with a precise shot beat the Swedish goalkeeper, giving Kosovo three golden points.

This is the second consecutive victory for the Dardanians, who already have 7 points after four matches, moving up to second place in the group, just three points behind leading Switzerland.
After the match, UEFA called it a "great victory for Kosovo in Gothenburg", praising the team's visible progress as it gains more and more respect in the international arena.
Another impressive detail is the fact that Kosovo has not conceded a single goal in the last three matches, a clear indication of the defensive solidity and the great work that coach Foda is doing with the team. /Telegraph/
