Two weeks of campaigning, VLEN and AKI candidates with rallies in different settlements

The candidates of VLEN and AKI continued their activities today as part of the campaign for the local elections.
VLEN's candidate for mayor of Tetovo, Bilall Kasami, held a rally in the village of Shipkovica tonight. Kasami wrote on Facebook that he has received support from the villages of the highlands.
"Tonight in Shipkovica, together with the residents of Gajre, Lisec, Brodec, Veshalë and Bozovce, we proved once again that development is no longer a promise, it is a reality that is happening. Because we have done what others only promised! They forgot the highlands, we built them. They used the villages only for votes, we turned them into priorities for our investments. They talked about change, we brought the change!".
"In these four years, the highlands have seen work and not propaganda: we started asphalting the road in Shipkovica (it will be completed soon), we asphalted the road and are building the school in Sellce, we completed the reconstruction of the Brodec - Veshalle road. These are just some of the projects we have turned into reality, while what is coming is even better," Kasami wrote on Facebook.
His opponent from the AKI, Bajram Rexhepi, unveiled the plan for Kodra e Diellit. He said that 20 new hotels will be built, while the improvement of the infrastructure is planned to be done through a public-private partnership. In addition, Rexhepi said that a cable car and multi-storey garages will also be built.
"The plan is to build at least two new entrances to Kodra e Diellit. Of course, the infrastructure part is also planned, a large pool for artificial snow production will be built, new skiing trails will be built. The other plan is for the infrastructure in the city to be properly organized, to create conditions for tourists to have much easier opportunities to come to Kodra e Diellit," said Rexhepi.
The AKI candidate for mayor of Gostivar, Valbon Limani, has presented part of his program for the municipality. He indicated that he has drafted an urban plan for modern spatial development that will transform the city into a living, functional and contemporary space.
He mentioned the design for the new bridge to be called "Bridge of Harmony", the transformation and opening of the main boulevard, the underground parking near the municipality and the renaissance of the city center with an underpass for vehicles and pedestrians. He also spoke about support for the economy and young people.
"To boost the local economy and create more employment opportunities, we will implement a new support policy for businesses and innovation. Municipal taxes for new companies will be reduced from 6 thousand denars to only 1 thousand denars in the first 5 years of operation. Youth is our future - for every young man or woman up to 30 years old, we will support their start-ups with 60 thousand denars," said Limani.
VLEN also held a central rally in Saraj. Their candidate for this municipality, Muhamed Elmazi, said that his program was the result of door-to-door meetings with citizens.
"A vote for my curriculum is a vote for our families and children. This curriculum has emerged from door-to-door visits, in every neighborhood and settlement of our municipality. This curriculum is about our future. The first point of my curriculum is infrastructure. We will transform Lake Treska and Matka into tourist centers. We will build new schools and kindergartens," said Muhamed Elmazi from Saraj.
Otherwise, local elections will be held on October 19, while 24 hours before voting there will be electoral silence. /Telegraph/
