On 15.01.2026, the Investigation Unit of the Police Station in Viti, as a result of intensive investigative actions, managed to identify and arrest two Kosovar male suspects MJ (born 2002) and BK (born 2006) on suspicion of their involvement in several cases of serious theft that occurred in three educational institutions in the municipality of Viti.
The suspects are suspected of having worked together at three locations of educational institutions to steal a significant amount of equipment and tools, including laptops, iPads, projectors and other technology devices and various work tools.
Within the framework of legal procedures by order of the competent court, inspections were carried out in two locations, during which relevant material evidence, namely suspected stolen items, were found and confiscated, which after verification were linked to the cases in question.
The suspects were interviewed in the presence of defense lawyers and, by decision of the State Prosecutor, were remanded in custody for 48 hours.
