The Ferizaj Police have punished two drivers in two separate cases for serious violations of road traffic rules, during November 15 and 16, 2025.

According to the Road Traffic Unit, the first case was recorded on November 15, at around 16:25, in the village of Sazli. Driver ZN, 31, who was driving a Peugeot 308 with local license plates, was caught driving at 119 km/h in a zone where the speed limit is 50 km/h.
For this serious offense, he was fined 300 euros, 3 negative points, and banned from driving for 3 months.


The second incident occurred on November 16, at around 16:05 PM, on Driton Islami Street in Ferizaj. Driver VJ, 40, was caught red-handed using his phone while driving.

Police checks showed that this was the third time he had committed the same offense.
He was fined 500 euros, 3 negative points and banned from driving for 6 months.

The Regional Police in Ferizaj called on all drivers to respect speed limits and not use their phones while driving, emphasizing that these actions pose a serious risk to their lives and those of other road users.

The police also announced that they will intensify radar checks and checks on drivers using their phones while driving on all roads in the region, with the aim of increasing road safety.
