Two drivers are punished for serious traffic violations in Ferizaj

Two drivers have been sanctioned by the Ferizaj Police after they were caught driving vehicles in violation of the protective measure of driver's license revocation. Both cases were handled by the Ferizaj Police Station and the Road Traffic Unit.
The first case was registered at around 02:22 on “Ahmet Kaçiku” street in Ferizaj, where the police stopped the driver EH (23 years old). He was caught driving a Volkswagen Golf, although he had a protective measure of driving license suspension from October 14, 2025 to January 13, 2026.
For this violation, he was fined 500 euros, 5 negative points, and banned from driving for 6 months throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo. The vehicle was confiscated.
During the verification, it was found that the driver had accumulated 13 negative points from previous offenses, which led to an additional measure: the revocation of his driver's license for another 12 months, reports Telegraph.
In the second case, the Road Traffic Unit had stopped the driver Xh.H. (42 years old) a few days ago in the village of Gjyrkovc in Shtime, who was driving an Audi Q5 with local license plates, even though the protective measure of revocation of his driver's license was in force against him from October 15, 2025 to January 14, 2026. This driver was also fined 500 euros and was deprived of driving for 6 months, while his vehicle was confiscated. He possessed a foreign driver's license.
The Ferizaj Regional Police has called on all drivers to respect traffic rules and not drive during legal ban periods.
