At the "Bobit's Cave" Sports Center in Fierzë, Peja, sports games organized by the Kosovo Police Union will begin today, in honor and remembrance of police officers who have fallen in the line of duty.
The opening ceremony will be attended by representatives of state institutions, senior leaders of the Kosovo Police, family members of fallen police officers, as well as representatives of police unions from the region and beyond.
This activity, which will last two days - October 31 and November 1, 2025, aims to honor the sacrifice and contribution of fallen officers, but also to promote the spirit of solidarity, sportsmanship and cooperation among police officers.
During these days, Kosovo Police sports teams will compete in several disciplines, including football, volleyball, chess and shooting.
The organizers emphasized that these activities are a symbolic way to remember those who gave their lives in the line of duty and to strengthen bonds between colleagues in blue uniform. /Telegrafi/
