The Turkish Kizilelma has achieved a true combat milestone that the American Ghost Bat has yet to achieve.
Bayraktar combat drone Kizilelma has confirmed for the first time the interception of a Gokdogan air-to-air missile.
It detected the target with its Murad Aesa radars, locked on to it and destroyed it - and the whole event was recorded on video.
Meanwhile, Boeing's Ghost Bat launched an AIM-120 AMRAAM without seeing the target, relying only on information provided by an E-7 aircraft.
Boeing provided no radar data, no target tracking, and no confirmation of the hit.
Boeing had presented the Ghost Bat as the first drone with such capabilities. In reality, this historic step has already been achieved by Kizilelma. /Telegraph/
