The Regional Water Supply Company "Prishtina" has announced that due to the turbulence created in the Ibër Lepenc canal, as a result of technical works, there have been difficulties in the functioning of the Water Treatment Plant (ITU) in Shkabaj.
According to the announcement, this situation has affected the disruption of water supply in some parts of the municipalities of Fushë Kosovë/Kosovo Polje, Obiliq/Obilić, and Drenas, and may also have an impact on some areas of Pristina.
"Currently, ITU Shkabaj is not treating water. While at ITU Albanik and Badoc we are working at maximum capacity," the announcement of the KRU "Prishtina" states.
The company has called on consumers to remain informed of further developments regarding the stabilization of water supply.
