Trump meets with Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa, has five demands for him

Following the news announced by US President Donald Trump about the lifting of sanctions on Syria, a meeting between Trump and his Syrian counterpart Ahmad al Sharaa took place.

The White House has released photos and some details from the meeting Trump had with al Sharaa, reports the Telegraph.

Trump told al Sharaa that he has an extraordinary opportunity to do something historic in his country.


The American president had a list of five demands for him:

To sign the Abraham Accords with Israel

Tell all foreign terrorists to leave Syria

Deport Palestinian terrorists

Help the US prevent the resurgence of ISIS

Take responsibility for ISIS detention centers in Northeastern Syria. /Telegraph/
