US President Donald Trump hosted a meeting with American war veterans in the Oval Office at the White House.
He praised their bravery as he spoke to each of them, the Telegraph reports.
When the veterans told Trump they had been injured, he responded with a dose of "amazing" astonishment.
During their meeting, they discussed their regiments and the awards they have received for service such as the Purple Heart, a military decoration given by the president to soldiers wounded or killed in the line of duty.
The images shared on social media have gone viral, due to the unusual way they hear their stories. /Telegraph/
