After a physical absence last year, when he only joined via video link, Donald Trump is expected to land in Switzerland again to participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos.

As the Swiss newspaper "Blick" reports, his visit on January 18 has set in motion a giant security machine, with the US Secret Service and Swiss authorities preparing an extraordinary protective device.

The arrival of the American president will take place on the well-known "Air Force One" aircraft, a flying command center equipped with the highest defense technology, including anti-missile systems and protection from electromagnetic pulses.

Preparations have already begun, as the first transport plane with logistical equipment landed at Zurich Airport on Sunday.

To ensure maximum security, American agents are expected to take control of the observation tower in Zurich during the presidential plane's landing, as they have done during Trump's previous visits in 2018 and 2020.

If weather conditions are favorable, Trump will be transported from Zurich to Davos by military helicopters, which are always accompanied by other vehicles to keep the president's exact location secret.

However, in case of bad weather, ground vehicles come into play: the 9-ton armored limousine known as "The Beast."

This car is a real fortress, with 15-centimeter-thick windows and doors, as well as internal reserves of oxygen and the president's blood group.

In addition to physical protection, Trump's delegation will also carry with them the suitcase containing the authorization codes for nuclear attacks.

On the other hand, the Swiss army will mobilize a large number of troops to secure the Davos area, while the air force will strictly monitor the airspace, in full coordination with the American secret services. /Telegrafi/
