Trump criticizes USAID funding allocation, mentions Kosovo and Serbia

US President Donald Trump has commented on the allocation and use of USAID funds around the world, also mentioning Kosovo and Serbia.

During a media conference in Florida, Trump emphasized that two million dollars have been allocated for the development of "sustainable recycling models" in Kosovo, with the aim of increasing socio-economic cohesion and improving living conditions for marginalized communities.

“…Two million dollars to develop sustainable recycling models, to increase socio-economic cohesion among marginalized communities in Kosovo, such as Ashkali and Egyptians,” he said.

During his statement, Trump momentarily confused Egyptians as a community in Kosovo and Egypt as a country.

Trump also mentioned $14 million allocated to improve public procurement in Serbia.

According to Trump, the allocation of such funds is a big scam.

"This is all a scam... We're talking about hundreds of billions of dollars. I could read this all day..." he said.

In conclusion, he called the current system "corrupt" and emphasized that this is a worrying situation for the country.
