White House: Trump is clear that he wants to take Greenland

Caroline Leavitt says talks between the foreign ministers of Denmark and Greenland with US Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio were "productive".
"It was a good meeting, both sides agreed to create a working group with individuals who will continue to hold technical talks on the purchase of Greenland," she said.
"I have been told that these talks will take place every two to three weeks," she added.
"This is a conversation that the administration intends to continue with the Danes and with the relevant delegation from Greenland," according to Leavitt.
"But the president has made his priority quite clear, he wants the United States to take Greenland, he thinks it's better for national security to do so."
Leavitt adds that sending troops from European countries to Greenland will not affect Trump's decision to purchase the territory. /Telegraph/
