US President Donald Trump said today that Russia has offered an important compromise in peace talks with Ukraine by not "taking over the whole country".
Responding to a reporter's question about what Russia was offering in the peace talks, Trump replied "to stop the war."
"It's going to stop taking up the whole country. That's a big compromise," Trump added during a meeting in the Oval Office with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store.
The American leader thinks it will be very difficult for Ukraine to return Crimea, writes cnn.
"I think we're going to make a deal," Trump added, saying "I think we're very close to a deal."
Otherwise, Russia started the invasion of the Ukrainian state on February 24, 2022, causing thousands of casualties and extensive material damage. /Telegraph/
