Trump: Cuba wants to reach a deal

US President Donald Trump said Cuba wants to reach an agreement and is negotiating with him and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Speaking at the "Shield of the Americas" meeting of Latin American leaders in Miami, Florida, Trump said Cuba was "at the end of the road."
"They want to negotiate and they are negotiating with Rubio, me and some others, and I think a deal would be made very easily with Cuba," Trump declared.
Otherwise, Trump said yesterday in an interview with CNN that he was convinced that Cuba was on the verge of collapse.
"Cuba, by the way, will fall soon," he emphasized, praising the United States' military successes during his second term.
But such statements from Trump are not new.
As early as late January, he said that "Cuba is truly a nation that is very close to collapse."
He also said that the Caribbean country used to receive money and oil from Venezuela, but that this is no longer possible after the US intervention. /Telegraph/
