Trump: There's no one in the world who can stop Putin but me

US President Donald Trump recently conducted an interview with the founder of the portal Outkick, Clay Travis, where he spoke about the ceasefire negotiations in Ukraine.

Trump has spoken out about his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"I know him very well," Trump said.

"He didn't invade Ukraine when you were president," Clay noted, according to the Telegraph.

"He didn't invade anything when I was president," Trump said, before noting that Russian military actions in Georgia and Crimea took place under President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama, respectively, while the aggression in Ukraine occurred while President Joe Biden was in office.

"I don't think there's anyone in the world who will stop Putin, except me, and I think I'll be able to stop him," he said.

"We've had some very rational discussions and I just want to see that people aren't getting killed. They're losing little children for weeks, and they're Russians and Ukrainians," the US president concluded. /Telegraph/
