US President Donald Trump has declared his intention for America to be dedicated to God during the 250th anniversary of the country's founding.
He made the announcement during the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday morning.
During his speech, he spoke once again about his previous comments that he was not sure if he could go to heaven.
"I was joking," he said.
Then, Trump shifted his focus to talking more about the country.
"To be a great nation, you have to have FAITH. You have to have FAITH. You have to have GOD," Trump declared.
It is announced that a sacred prayer ceremony will be held on the National Mall on May 17.
"We are inviting Americans from across the country to come together on the National Mall to pray, to give thanks," the US president concluded. /Telegraph/
