Trilateral talks concluded, Ukrainian delegation chief says some issues were clarified with Russians

Talks between the US, Russia and Ukraine in Geneva have concluded.
A Ukrainian official confirmed that the meeting lasted about two hours.
After the conclusion of the trilateral talks, Rustem Umerov, head of the Ukrainian delegation in Switzerland, said that the negotiations were substantive and some issues were clarified, writes sky news.
He added that there had been progress and that Ukraine's goal remains a just and lasting peace.

Meanwhile, Volodymyr Zelensky has provided more details about Ukraine's position after the second round of talks. The Ukrainian president said he is working with the delegation to "bring real peace closer."
"The priority is security guarantees for Ukraine. Ukrainian representatives have clear instructions on every aspect of the negotiations," he added. He also stated that he expects a detailed report after the conclusion of all meetings.
Trilateral talks are expected to continue to end the war that began in 2023, when Russia invaded Ukraine. /Telegraph/
