Trepça wins the Kosovo Cup for the fifth time in a row, defeating Bashkimi in the final

Trepça triumphed in the Cup final with a landslide score of 91:72, confirming its dominance in Kosovar basketball and lifting this trophy nine times.
The final, held in Rahovec, started off evenly. Bashkimi ended the first quarter with a 19:16 lead, while Mitrovica responded in the second with a 27:22 lead to go into the break with a minimal 43:41 advantage.
The match was decided in the third quarter. The team led by Adis Beqiragić completely dominated this period with a score of 22:12, creating a safe margin (65:53) before the last 10 minutes.
The fourth quarter was a formality, with the "Miners" maintaining a lead of around 20 points until the end for a convincing victory.
Mustapha Amzil was the standout player for Trepça with 22 points and 12 rebounds, while Akili Vining added 20 points and six assists.
Ja'Cori Payne contributed with 13 points and 10 assists. Lejson Zeqiri led Bashkimi with 19 points, while Ike N'amu had 16 points and seven rebounds.
For Trepça, this is the 20th trophy in Kosovar basketball, while Bashkimi remains with one Cup won in 2001 and loses the final for the ninth time.
The Mitrovica team is now considered big favorites in the race for the championship title.
