Trent Alexander-Arnold breaks silence after winning the Premier League with Liverpool

Trent Alexander-Arnold has broken his silence following Liverpool's 5-1 win over Tottenham to win the Premier League on Sunday.

The 26-year-old started the match at Anfield after scoring the three-point goal a round earlier against Leicester City.

After the 5-1 victory, he was part of the celebration along with the fans, although his future still remains unclear.

Names like Mo Salah, Arne Slot and Virgil Van Dijk all took part in on-field interviews after their triumph, but Alexander-Arnold did not speak to reporters.

American broadcaster Peacock claimed they were told he was staying away from the media and was not available for interviews, something that appears to have caused speculation about his future.

However, Alexander-Arnold has broken his silence through a post on his social network Instagram.

He posted several photos of himself with his teammates, accompanied by the caption: For the City. For the Fans.

As things stand, the England international's contract is set to expire at the end of June, which would allow him to join his next club on a free transfer, with Real Madrid having been strongly linked with a move for him for some time now.Telegraph/
