The Chief Executive Officer of Kosovo Railways, Trainkos Sh.A., Agron Statovci, has received death threats today, following reforms and restructuring undertaken within the company.
Sources within the company say that it is suspected that the threats came as a result of Statovci's decisions against individuals involved in abuses of official positions.
The implemented reforms have included tough measures to increase transparency and accountability, as well as penalties for those who have abused their duties within the enterprise.
The case has been reported to the Kosovo Police at the Fushë Kosovës station and an investigation has already been launched regarding the threats.
