After the interruption of patient treatment due to the tragedy in Kocani, surgeries for oncology patients will continue in surgical clinics in Skopje from today, while from tomorrow the clinics are expected to operate with fully planned programs, Minister of Health Arben Taravari announced today.
"From today, surgical clinics will start operating not at full capacity, but only for oncology patients, while from tomorrow after the meeting of the Crisis Staff, I hope that all clinics will work at full capacity with the programs that have been planned," said Taravari.
He announced the latest status of patients from the fire in Kocani, who are being treated in hospitals in the country and abroad, emphasizing that the good news is that 72 hours have passed and there are no deaths.
178 patients are being treated in various health institutions in the country, of which 64 in state hospitals, while 13 patients in private hospitals and all, as he said, are in relatively stable condition. There are 101 patients receiving treatment abroad and they are in relatively stable condition.
