Tragedy in Kocani, 11 more injured are being treated abroad

A total of 11 patients injured in the Kocani fire are being treated abroad.

Of them, three are in Greece and are in good and stable condition, four patients in Serbia are also in good condition, one in Austria is stable and placed in a ward, one in Slovenia is already undergoing rehabilitation, and two patients in Turkey have been transferred to a ward, where they regularly receive bandages, Deputy Minister of Health Jovica Andovski announced today.

As he informed in a meeting with journalists, in the past period, a team of experts from the United Kingdom conducted intensive training for 45 health workers on the physical and psychological rehabilitation of patients.


"The trainings were held in five public health institutions, in the Clinic for Plastic Surgery, Physical Medicine at the General Hospital "8 Shtatori" and in the hospitals in Shtip and Kocani. With the recommendation of English experts, rehabilitation will take place in Kocani so that the injured are closer to their homes", Andovski emphasized.
